Beans and Franks

First Post

Well, I figured since everyone else was doing it, I would fall into line and start a blog too.  Brad and I tossed around several ideas for the name and he came up with beans and franks.  I will leave it up to the reader’s imagination as to what that refers too.  Duh!

We had an exciting night at the Conrad household.  My little darling niece is spending the night.  She loves her cousins and had a ball.  They are all fast asleep now.  We went out sledding earlier, she and Ryan looked so cute all bundled up.  She chowed down at dinner and as usual, Ryan barely touched his food!  Nate ranted and raved that he hated what I made (a casserole) and after he finally tried it, he said he liked the white things.  I guess that is a compliment.

Katie (the nanny) took Ryan and Nate to a movie this afternoon, Charlotte’s Web.  It was Ryan’s first movie and I guess he sat and watched the whole thing!  Nate must not have been too impressed because he hasn’t mentioned one word about it.

If you haven’t seen Payton in a while, he looks like a kid straight out of the 70’s.  Brad is going nuts with his hair that long but I found a picture of him when he was in 2nd grade and his hair was longer!  Of course, it was the 1970’s when that photo was taken!

Brad and I are still on our fitness kick.  Hopefully we will keep it up.  He is down 25 pounds and I am down a little over 20.  We feel good – now if we can just keep it up!

We put our house on the market today…that should be  an interesting process.  The realtor has raved about our house…pray that it sells quickly!

loved the picture of the little blue eyed eskimoes. I am afraid to leave ! marks anymore since everyone always makes fun of me. I wish I was half as smart as my kids are.
